Medical Marijuana Card
Each state has varying qualifying conditions that can be treated with medical marijuana. Some common qualifying medical conditions that would determine eligibility to receive a medical marijuana card include:

- The patient must go through an evaluation with a physician who is Certified to Recommend by the state of issuance.
- Lastly, once a positive recommendation from your licensed physician is submitted, the state will review the need, and determine eligibility for the medical marijuana card.
Caregivers are also allowed to register and receive medical marijuana cards on behalf of their patients.
Trigger Point Injection
Here at Yusra Medical Associates, we are proud to offer trigger point injections for patients struggling with fibromyalgia, tension headaches, myofascial pain, and muscle pain in the arms, legs, lower back and neck.
This procedure is safe and the risk of possible complications is very low. You may experience soreness or numbness at the injection site for a temporary period of time. While you should avoid strenuous activity for a few days, you should be able to actively use your muscles immediately following treatment.
B12 & Power Shots
Many people suffer from B12 vitamin deficiency, especially with the growing popularity of veganism, vegetarianism, and other specialty diets and lifestyles. Others who may be more susceptible to vitamin B12 deficiency are patients diagnosed with Crohn’s disease or celiac disease, and those who have undergone intestinal procedures such as weight loss surgery.
While many who are deficient opt for oral, over-the-counter supplements, we recommend approaching the deficiency head-on with B12 injections. Lipo-C Shots
Lipo-C Shots or Lipotropic Injections are shots that contain as high dose of essential nutrients. They help you to maintain your energy level while on your low-calorie weight loss plan and support healthy fat burning. Yusra Medical Associates will be giving these to our patients who are in our weight loss program. These shots are also covered under most insurance plans. For patients that do not have insurance we are offering the shots $20.00 each or 6 for $100.00. These shots can be taken 1 to 2 times a week depending on the weight loss plan created by Dr. Khan and the patient.
Cosmetic Medical Clearance
Before undergoing any cosmetic surgery, a Cosmetic Medical Clearance is required. For any cosmetic procedures, including bariatric procedures. We provide all services in one place, removing the need for patients to see several providers.
To obtain Cosmetic Medical Clearance, you must consult with a single physician who will complete the necessary paperwork. Yusra Medical Associates is a full-service medical clearing facility. The fee is $250 (this includes the doctor's fee, the EKG, any lab work, and any paperwork).
